General Questions
What are your hours of operation?

Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday-Friday.

Weekend appointments are available upon request.

What are your turnaround times?

Our turnaround times depend on the size of the job and when it is submitted. Same day turnarounds are available on the majority of our services. To obtain the best estimate of turnaround times, please contact us.

Do you deliver or ship?

Yes! We deliver throughout the Chicagoland area and ship nationwide using FedEx, UPS, or USPS.

If I order at one location, can I pick it up at another?

Yes! You are welcome to pick up your order at any of our 3 Chicagoland locations. Please contact us in advance if you want to pick up from a different location than the one you ordered from.

How will I know when my order is complete?

We will contact you via email or phone informing you when your order is ready.

I am having problems viewing plans on the online planroom. How can I fix this?

The online planroom works best with the most recent version of Java. If you do not have the latest version, please visit www.java.com and download it. Remember to restart your computer after installing the latest version!

Print and Scanning
What types of files do you accept?

Digital Blueprinting – PDF, TIFF, or PLT

Signs & Graphics – PDF, EPS, or any High Resolution JPG files

Small Format – Print or Press Quality PDF files

How do I send files for print?

Email one of our locations! For large files, please use the “Send Us Files” button. If you have any problems, please contact us.

What is a bleed?

A bleed refers to the area that extends beyond the intended cut line of a printed document. This extra space is necessary to ensure that the image or color extends to the edge of the final product after trimming. The bleed is cut off during the finishing process to achieve the desired size.

What type of paper do you print on?

Digital Blueprinting – 20# Engineering Bond, 40# Engineering Bond, Mylar, Vellum, Erasable Vellum, Tyvek, and Untearable Bond.

Signs & Graphics – there are endless substrates that we can print on. For more information, please visit our “Signs & Graphics” page or contact us.

What is the largest blueprint size that can be printed?

The width cannot exceed 36 inches. The length is unlimited.

How large can you scan?

The length is unlimited, provided that one dimension is no larger than 36 inches. Boards up to a thickness of 0.5 inches can also be scanned.

Billing and Payment
Can you bill me or my company directly?

Yes! A credit application is required. It will be reviewed by a third party for credit approval, which takes 3 to 5 business days after the application is submitted.

Please Note: For the first job, payment must be made by credit card, cash, or business check upon pick-up or delivery.
